She kind of shrugged and said, “Well, you do live your life online,” and that really stuck with me. Running a business online is already hard — the pressure, the visibility, the vulnerability. Add unkind or straight-up mean comments on top of that, and no wonder so many of us hesitate to show up fully as ourselves. But here’s the thing: choosing to share online doesn’t mean we’re inviting people to attack or tear us down.
